The thinking

Purpose before pixels.

A back-office workflow concept that organizes documents from arrival through structured review. Users can prioritize exceptions, inspect source files next to extracted values, and understand which rules govern processing. The interface demonstrates how automation and human verification can operate together on important financial records.

Business context

Accounts teams receive many invoices and other documents through email, uploads, or shared drives. Even with automated extraction, missing fields, duplicate records, and inconsistent formats can cause expensive downstream errors unless people have a clear review process.

Concept approach

Plyra presents a document-operations overview, searchable inbox, side-by-side invoice review, and extraction-rule management. The design intentionally shows validation states and unresolved items rather than pretending every field is perfectly understood by AI.

Designed capabilities

  • 01Document intake queue. Status, source, document type, supplier, and processing state appear together.
  • 02Side-by-side validation. A scanned invoice view sits beside extracted metadata and line items for review.
  • 03Exception resolution. Missing or inconsistent values can be identified before the document moves forward.
  • 04Rules and model controls. Field mapping and review settings make processing behavior inspectable.
  • 05Operations reporting. Volume, turnaround, and exception categories provide a high-level operational picture.

A connected journey

From first step to next action.

A document arrives → the system identifies type and fields → a reviewer compares extracted data against the source → unresolved issues are corrected or held → the team tracks processing status.
