Callgrove
A voice-operations workspace focused on call context, human oversight, and appointment creation.
The thinking
Purpose before pixels.
A front-desk automation concept designed to connect incoming calls with structured service information and appointment workflows. It illustrates the views a business operator would need to inspect conversations, manage bookings, and configure the receptionist’s behavior while retaining human control where required.
Business context
Appointment-led businesses often miss calls during busy periods, repeat basic scheduling information, and struggle to connect a caller’s request to calendar availability. Voice automation is most useful when the system’s actions remain understandable and reviewable.
Concept approach
Callgrove presents a voice-operations overview, a detailed call and transcript screen, an appointment calendar, and receptionist settings. The design makes the boundary between a suggested response, a booked appointment, and an escalation rule visible.
Designed capabilities
- 01Call outcome visibility. A call record explains whether the request was answered, booked, transferred, or flagged.
- 02Transcript and summary. Staff can review context and an event timeline instead of trusting a headline metric alone.
- 03Calendar coordination. An appointment view illustrates the link between a conversation and a booking slot.
- 04Voice and business rules. Receptionist configuration includes hours, tone, intents, and escalation preferences.
- 05Human fallback. Sensitive or uncertain requests can be flagged for a person to review in the proposed experience.

A connected journey
From first step to next action.
A customer calls → the receptionist interprets the request → verifies a date or answers a simple question → creates a proposed booking → a staff member can review the transcript or escalate a complicated case.
