The thinking

Purpose before pixels.

A billing operations concept for recurring-revenue businesses. The design connects subscription records and payment exceptions with invoice visibility and a customer-facing portal. It illustrates how operators and subscribers might share one dependable billing experience without presenting the mockup as a functioning financial service.

Business context

Subscription teams struggle when pricing plans, customer entitlements, invoices, and payment failures live in disconnected systems. Customers also want a straightforward way to understand invoices and change billing details without opening a support ticket.

Concept approach

Setora brings revenue metrics, subscription management, recovery workflows, and a customer billing portal into one cohesive interface. The admin views show operational decisions, while the customer view emphasizes clarity and self-service.

Designed capabilities

  • 01Subscription records. Plan, billing cycle, customer, status, and renewal context in one table.
  • 02Recurring-revenue overview. Example metrics show which measures might guide finance and growth conversations.
  • 03Payment recovery. Failed-payment states and retry paths make exception handling visible.
  • 04Invoice visibility. Admin users can inspect collection status and associated invoices.
  • 05Customer self-service. A customer portal shows plans, payment details, and downloadable billing documents.

A connected journey

From first step to next action.

A finance operator notices a payment exception → opens affected subscriptions → reviews retry and communication status → checks invoice state; meanwhile, a customer can view their plan and billing history through a separate portal.
