What to Remove

Navigation menus (they provide exit paths — landing pages should have one action)
Multiple CTAs competing for attention
Long paragraphs of text (use bullet points)
Autoplay videos with sound (instant bounce)

Social Proof Placement

Social proof is the most powerful conversion tool. Place it strategically throughout the page:

Above the fold: Client logos or a key metric ("10,000+ teams use our platform")
After the problem statement: A testimonial that echoes the pain point you just described
Near the CTA: A short testimonial or rating badge immediately adjacent to the conversion button
Dedicated section: 3-4 detailed testimonials with names, photos, company names, and specific results

Effective Testimonials

Include specific numbers: "Increased our conversion rate from 2.1% to 5.8% in 3 months"
Show the person's face and real name — anonymous testimonials have near-zero credibility
Match the testimonial to your target audience — if you are targeting Indian startups, feature Indian startup founders

Form Optimization

Every form field you add reduces conversion rate. The data is clear:

1-3 fields: Highest conversion rate (10-15% for B2B)
4-6 fields: Moderate drop (5-10%)
7+ fields: Significant drop (under 5%)
